I'm a Auricular Detoxification Specialist.

The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) advocates in the US and internationally for public policies that will increase access to ear acupuncture within behavioural and psychiatric health programs, within comprehensive addictions treatment, harm reduction and peer recovery support groups.

We provide treatment for Addiction, Stress, Smoking, Depression, Anger, ADHD/ADD, and Bi-Polar by means of Auricular Acupuncture. Acupuncture treats the cause and not the symptoms.

It is the placement of very small needles on the acupuncture points on the ear surface. This treatment is called the NADA five point protocol and assist people to rebalance within an already balanced system and is a nonverbal treatment. It does not require a person to lie down or remove any clothing. It is non-invasive and pain free.
This treatment is safe and has been around for thousands of years. In my own capacity I have seen a very high percentage of success, as high as 95%. This approach to alternative healing is very popular and much sought after. There are only a handful of qualified practitioners in South Africa.
I do go to companies on request, as it assists companies, to have staff not leaving the workplace and the energy within the company becomes higher.
As a qualified Minister of Metaphysics and Life Coach I assist in more than just the acupuncture. This makes for huge benefits to the clients I serve. My normal rate is R350.00 per treatment of one hour for treatment at my rooms.  I have discounted rates that work on a sliding scale. The more treatment one needs, the less each treatment becomes.
Should a person need more than one treatment and the above apply, the total discounted fee is payable on the first visit.
Should a company commission me for a certain day of the week for three hours every week do treatment for any or all of their staff, I have a set monthly rate, starting at R5 000.00 for a company with a compliment of 10 or less members.
R10 000.00 for 10 to 20 staff members.
R30 000.00 for 30 to 40 staff members.
Beyond that number the hours per day increase to 5 hours a day and the rate increases accordingly.
This is a proactive way to have more productive hours from staff and surely a healthier staff. Less people stay off work the more productive the company. If there is less stress, there is less conflict. This is and investment in any companies’ staff members (the most important asset of any company) and ultimately an investment in the company, a Win, Win situation. Wellness plays a great role in the today’s working society, thus the need to exercise prevention rather than cure, right there at the workplace, less time wasted more time gained.
I have studied at the University of Metaphysics and the University of Sedona and did my training through Acudetox here in South Africa. I am a registered and approved NADA Specialist in SA and USA whom practices from my rooms in Florida Gauteng.
Please feel free to contact me for a presentation or any other detail you may require.
Andre is known to help people with a variety of symptoms. He does combined healing methods with great success. There are others around the world that had great results with mental health issues as I mention below.
Several of us at the Freedom Centre learned the NADA protocol at Lincoln Recovery Centre in the South Bronx in 2005. After learning how effective this was for drug recovery, detoxification, relaxation, and trauma we thought a NADA clinic would be a useful and relevant service for the Freedom Centre to offer.

Many people turn to Freedom Centre’s NADA clinic because they are experiencing an extreme emotional state that often stems from trauma. This treatment is effective with trauma because it does not require people to reveal anything personal or painful to a stranger. While it may be important for people to talk through traumatic events, there is unique benefit to the inward, collective nonverbal experience that can be provided at a NADA clinic.

The other main reason for starting the clinic was to provide a resource for people trying to get off psychiatric drugs. There are few resources for people withdrawing from psychiatric drugs and the intensity of the withdrawal is rarely recognized by our culture. Most of the Freedom Centre’s founders have gotten off psychiatric drugs and feel that doing so has been a critical component to their overall recovery and well-being. Their collective experience is the driving force behind offering a safe space to others who make this choice.

Currently, the clinic averages 10-20 people each week and has treated hundreds since 2006. Despite changing practitioners, monetary problems common to community-based grassroots organizations, the free weekly NADA clinic has stayed a strong and consistent part of the Freedom Centre.

Other NADA clinics connected to Recovery Learning Communities, a regional network of peer-run support groups, have since spawned in Western Massachusetts. If Massachusetts were to pass a law allowing non-acupuncturists to get NADA trained, there would be a great opportunity for spreading NADA in peer mental health settings. http://www.acudetox.com/guidepoints/news-from-guidepoints/143-nada-is-an-alternative-to-psych-meds-in-western-mass-welcome-to-the-freedom-center.html
